Convection Game Engine

Convection is a game engine written in C# built atop the XNA platform. We are in the process of migrating to MonoGame to provide support for a wider array of platforms, as well as further fuel the open source nature of the project.

The engine includes (or will include) functions for managing audio, players, networking and various other aspects of your game allowing you to go from concept to implementation more quickly.

Attribution in the form of a splash screen is required when using Convection in any project, from educational to commercial. That being said, enjoy Convection, and happy coding!

Pioneer Project

The pioneer project for this engine is Blocks, which is currently under development.,

Important Note:

There are some features that are incomplete and will not work, as Convection is still early in development.
